Lemme ask you, why are you single?

Earlier today, I asked that same question in Twitter and I got random answers. Most of my followers reasoned out that being single makes them a better person and it makes their lives less stressful. Yes, to be single would definitely mean freedom and maybe a more peaceful life but are the rest of the single girls’ population happy with their current status? I doubt it.

Sometimes, when you’re single people would think that you’re a loser (because your man left you for whatever goddamn reason/s) or that you’re a control freak (because you chose to let go of your 2 year relationship just because you weren’t contented.) Singlehood is a choice but are the reasons behind it that shallow?

When you’re single and people around are madly in love with their partners, you’ll feel like you’re in a dead end and left with no choice but to pressure yourself to get into a relationship the soonest time possible. This makes almost half of the single girls’ population feel like a loser.

Why are we single? Is it because you feel trapped whenever you’re in a relationship? Is it because you want to do things on your own? Or is it because the good guys are taken and the rest are uhhh trash bin worthy? I may not know your reasons but I tell you, whatever it is, please be happy with your status. If your friends pressure you in meeting random guys or engaging yourself into a relationship you’re not sure of, tell them that you are happy being single. Sure, it is a blessing to have someone by your side but pressure is never the answer.

I have been into pressured relationships myself and it sucked big time. And I don’t want you girls to experience it. Save up your tears for the right guy.

While the world is busy making you feel like shit because you are single, prove them wrong.

Oh. So why am I single? I’ll answer that some other time.
